Booze Rules – Hinman & Carmichael LLP and the Corona Virus
March 16, 2020
To our friends and colleagues,
About the Corona Virus and the SF Bay Area Shutdown
The outbreak of COVID-19 is a tragic event that affects us all. At Hinman & Carmichael LLP we express our concern for the communities most affected by the virus and our deepest condolences to the families of those who have lost their lives. We are very much aware of our responsibilities as a global citizen and we are following all guidelines recommended by health officials nationally and locally in the San Francisco Bay Area; including by observing the just announced shutdown in San Francisco and the surrounding counties.
Our attorneys and staff will continue to work remotely as this situation unfolds in the coming weeks. We are prepared to continue to remotely provide uninterrupted service to our clients while this shutdown continues. Please feel free to contact any of our attorneys with questions about the business and regulatory effects of the shutdown. We will continue to be available via email or telephone and will be glad to assist you.
About the Czar’s Blog
To those waiting for the 2020 launch of the regular season Czar’s Blog, the opening of the baseball season is being delayed for at least two weeks, and probably longer. This means that the opening six games against the Dodgers may be tacked onto the end of the season. We have high hopes for the young G-Men and baseball, when it returns, will mark the beginning of a welcome return to normalcy.
More to come later in the month when we know more.
We appreciate you all and hope everyone remains healthy and safe.
Warmest Regards,
The Team at Hinman & Carmichael LLP
